A great option for a grab and go breakfast or for the kids’ snack boxes.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup FELIX apple sauce
- 1 Cup quick cook oats
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 30 grams coconut oil or melted butter
- 2 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180c.
- Mix all ingredients well together in a large bowl.
- Line a 20cm x 20cm baking dish with baking paper and pour the oat mixture into the baking dish.
- Using a spatula, spread the oat mixture to make an even layer of around 1.5cm thick.
- Bake in the middle shelf for 25 min until firm, remove from the oven, cut up into portions with a pizza cutter, flip over the pieces and bake for another 10min to dry out the other side.
- Cool and serve, or freeze in portions.
